A long time ago, in a toy office far, far away, we at Palisades were all set to do some stuff for Final Fantasy IX and Bouncer, both Squaresoft properties. I think it was like 2001 or something. We did a ton of design work for both, and for the FFIX we got into some sculpting.
The bottom dropped out of all of it, as the bottom often did in the toy/collectible bidness, and so all we had left were some sketches and some unusable sculpture. I showed some of the Bouncer stuff a short while ago, and will be showing some of the FFIX drawings (and sculpt photos if I can locate 'em) now.
---------------------------------
This was an unfinished set of sketches for the Eiko statue for the line. Can't remember what stopped me from finishing it. I probably just ran out of time and the sculptor had to begin, because I know we actually started this sculpt.
I know where the sculpt photos are most likely hiding, so it shouldn't be that hard to locate them. The real time issue will be going through all the photos to find the last rounds of the sculptures (the most finished) as opposed to the early rounds.
