This isn't actually page ______ of anything, I just have so many goofy Hari Kari pages that I am numbering them when I load them to DA so I can keep track of what I loaded.
Hari Kari was a Shi rip-off published by Blackout Comics. I did, I think, 2 issues of it. They were paying gigs, but the subject material was so mundane. But hell...did I mention they were PAYING gigs. That's important.
Anyway, here is one of the pages from one of the books. I did the pencils only. It was some sort of take on a Japanese fairy tale, which is why it has sort of a 'storybook' feel to the storytelling.
I gotta try to track down a copy of the book, which I no longer have any samples of. I'd like to see how these pages turned out...I only have scans of the four colored/inked/lettered, in other words 'finished' pages that I have already loaded into DA.
Thanks...drawing a dog and a monkey was the one thing that I thought was compelling about the story, for me anyway...not something I would normally do.
