I just realized that I never loaded page one of this sequence. Looking at it, I can see why I forgot. It's an AWFUL page. Really not strong at all. I can see why at the time I had to go into a different career!
Page 01 out of a sequence of 04 pages. The other three pages are in the gallery in the Comics Pages section. I'd link to them if I had any idea HOW to link to them.
These are samples from a set of Spider-Man pages I drew for a submission, back when I was trying unsuccessfully to break into comics. These are not published works. Some decent things about the pages. Sequentially speaking, and I mean as far as the language of storytelling, I'm happy with the pages. Lots of issues have I with the technique and skill of anatomy and junk like that.
Penciled by me. Inked by my good buddy Joe Eiden.

EDIT: Here are the links to all four pages in this sequence:
You know, I know what you mean when you say it's not strong or confident, but these still blow me away. And I have a question that I have always wanted to ask a comic book artist. How do you know how to draw everything - and I mean by everything the buildings, cars, all the background images. Do you reference pictures? Or do you just draw them out of your head? It's amazing the skill and knowledge you must have to be a comic book artist.
I'm really lauging at the DE poke. Well said!
