Thought some might find this interesting, as it shows the difference between a VERY novice colorist (that'd be ME) and a real honest to goodness colorist who specializes in the art, and it is it's own bonafide art, just look at guys who do it all the time. Their work gives me MAJOR wood...that skill set just eludes my ass and I'd gladly sacrifice a testicle to have those skills. (I guess since I am married and am done having kids and sex it isn't THAT big a sacrifice.)

Anyway, the far left is pencils and inks by me. The middle is the one I colored. The right is the one colored by :iconredeve:.

I love to look at different people's takes on shit...call me a crazy nut, but I do.

i like both, your version is masterfully coloured as well as the pro's. the only difference i see is more texture in the other guys colours, but to say colour skills elude you is most definately a lie

Actually, I almost like the middle one better then the one on the right.
The only thing I see wrong with it is that the colors need to be a bit more dramatic, darker shadows and brighter highlights, maybe more vivid colors. It just looks one step away from being done.

Also, the background could be darker to make Spidey and CyGor stand out a bit more, but other than that I think it's better.

oh more than half! It seems only one or two steps away!

I almost want to touch it up on my own computer, but I don't have a tablet and my mouse skills are crap...
Also, that would be rude.

I certainly wouldn't care if anybody did anything with anything I did...sharing is fun on DA.

I don't have a tablet either...been thinking lately about picking one up.

I've never even used one before. I don't think I'll be getting one anytime soon, because I'm saving up for a dressform instead. XD
Oh well.
I'm glad your cool with art sharing. I know some people are really anal about that.

Nah...as long as I get to see it and post it here, I don't care if someone colors the stuff with crayons or inks with a broomstick.
