OLD stuff...but came across it. It's from one of the few published pieces I actually did. Character is called Tormentress (groan).

I really like the feathering on her hair. Is it sad that I admire taht more then her boobs spilling out and the tat on her hip? :D

I know its old work but this page really jumps out at you. Very nice fluid blacks.

Thanks, appreciate that very much. I just wish I could get a better scan (but it's of a Xerox of the original pencils). Probably never get it right. I ought to scan in the original so people can see how I screwed it up...I was using it to swipe brushes on thinking it was a junk page then I saw what I was doing and liked to flip out.

wow... thats bad luck. I am protective of my new work for about 2 weeks then I think its junk and could care less. Its funny how something goes from "my best work" to "scrap paper" so quickly.

I do like seeing peoples old work though. I think it tells a story about their evolution as an artist. Anyhow- thats for writing back- you have some real professional pencils. Kind of reminds me of Mark Bagley on New Warriors/ Amazing Spiderman.

Thanks man...it's not that I care about my originals, I actually don't. It's funny...I take all kinds of shit for thumbtacks and junk I chew up my orig's with...what makes me mad is only that I didn't get a good scan of it before I ruined it, that's all. Harder to use it as a portfolio piece if it doesn't look the best it can in copies.

You know what else is funny? I am actually talking about an ENTIRELY different piece of art.

I really need to take my head OUT OF my ass tonight! :)
